Geno is a design practice working at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and territorial development. We work across scales and geographies, with the conviction that good design generates, it originates possibilities larger than the project itself.
We believe that the spaces we inhabit shape who we become. Design can be a generative force that influences how people live, connect, and thrive over time. Every project we take on, at whatever scale, is guided by that conviction.
The team
Geno is a collaborative practice. We work through a multidisciplinary network of architects, planners, urban designers, and local professionals, assembling the right expertise for each project and context.
The practice was founded by Luis Ignacio Penissi. Its approach combines a background in architecture and urbanism developed at the University of Buenos Aires and the Politecnico di Milano with a practice focused on design, cities, and urban development.
